SPR has contracts on all the Boeing commercial planes. I don't know the exact specifics of the exclusivity rights. BA might want to renegotiate pricing, but I doubt they would want to go test out... login to read the rest view available tags

I would qualify NP's comments to some extent. The issue isn't necessarily that the frame is unstable in isolation, it's that the combination of the frame with the larger engines (and their placement) causes instability.... login to read the rest 3 view available tags

I must quality that - "conversation with ex IDF-pilots. It is possible that an updated MCAS+better pilot training will lower the probability of accidents sufficiently enough to be a viable aircraft. In fact, I am hoping... login to read the rest 1 view available tags

Conversations with pilots. MCAS was installed on the 737 MAX because the design of the frame is unstable. Boeing has done a masterful job of blaming everything but the frame - from poor training of... login to read the rest view available tags

Ironically, SUVs have been recalled after breaching far lower failure rates (remember the Lexus/Toyota SUV recall tied to rollover risk?)... view available tags
